In a Horrifying accident had took place on July 28  near Ambenali – Poladpur ghat where a  private bus carrying 30 employees of Dr Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth died on July 28. But a resident of Gimhavane village in Dapoli taluka, Sanjay Gurav suspected
that it was a well-planned accident.
He is also suspecting that the sole survival Prakash Sawant Desai, the sole survivor was involved in it, although nothing has been proved till now. Gurav has submitted a petition regarding his claims to the administrative department of the University of Dapoli.

In his application he has mentioned that, The Geographical characteristics and how they affect the accident. The Ambenali ghat at one side has high altitude and on the other side, it is dangerously deep. It is quite evident from the condition of the dead bodies that the landslides occurring in the sport are dangerous as well as unavoidable, leading to tremendous accidents like this. The authorities, police officials, eyewitnesses told that the spot where the accident took place was the safest spot in the entire ghat. So there the very rare chances of any accidents taking place.

Sanjay Gurav said that the kind of actions the driver Prakash Sawant Desai took while the bus collapsed is beyond the presence of mind. In such a situation it is not possible to practically think and act.  As the valley is very steep, even the safety trackers take to support of a rope to climb up. But just like a movie scene Desai Magically came up by just rubbing bushes and shoving his fingers the slippery soil.  The road where the accident took place is wide enough to let two four-wheelers pass, then why was Sawant driving on the edge of the road? Asked Gurav . While climbing up the road was very slippery but Sawant was not hurt or injured in any way. This seems impossible.
Usually, during an accident, the driver is the first one who is alerted and tries to stop it. It
is shocking that the even the driver lost his life.

The possibilities outlined by Gurav Since Desai is not injured it’s possible that he was the one driving the bus. But suddenly he lost control over the bus and it collapsed. Which is why he was able to save his own life.

According to some of the pictures clicked and shared by the passengers, Desai was sitting beside the driver’s seat, he might have exchanged places and decided to drive himself.
The above speculations, Desai’s vague statements turn the needle towards the possibility that Sawant purposefully decided to drive, and hence the case needs a deeper
investigation.
The relatives of the victims residing in Dapoli along with Devrukh, Jalgaon, Kanakwali, Vengurla were also present at the spot.

On Saturday morning at around 11.30 am,dead bodies were traced, Some relatives were present at Rural Hospital in Poladpur. After the identification of bodies, relatives were identified. The bus shoved around 800 ft deep inside the valley Ambenali Ghat near Poladpur.
