Kabir Singh unveiled a poster of the film, featuring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani in a passionate kiss. He has been creating much buzz ever since it was announced, as it is the Hindi remake of the Telgu blockbuster Arjun Reddy.
The film tells the story of Kabir, a brilliant medical student, who goes on the path of self-destruction after his lover, leaves him. He takes to alcoholism and drug abuse.
Shahid is second time playing the role of man who takes to substances abuse. He had earlier played the role of Tommy Singh in Udta Punjab (2016).
Kabir Singh has been directed by Sandeep Vanga and will hit the screens on June 21.
