Kalyani Nagar Accident Commentary Case : Rapper Aryan Neekhra Demands withdraw Of Case

Pune: In the wake of the tragic Kalyani Nagar accident that claimed two lives and sparked nationwide outrage, Delhi-based rapper Aryan Neekhra has come under legal scrutiny for a rap addressing the incident. The Pune police have filed a case against Aryan in response to his creation.

Aryan Neekhra, known for his content creation, has urged the Pune police to withdraw the case, asserting that he is solely a content creator and had no involvement in the accident. He criticized the police action as a diversionary tactic from the primary issue. Following a lenient sentence handed to a juvenile in the Kalyani Nagar accident case, a fake video involving a youth went viral on social media, prompting Pune cyber police to register a case against Aryan. He has been charged under sections 509 and 294 of the IPC.

Aryan has vehemently denied any wrongdoing, claiming the case against him is a ploy to deflect attention from the original incident. He expressed his stance through a video, clarifying that he did not intend to offend anyone and emphasizing his middle-class background. “I am not the son of a millionaire; my life is just as valuable. I have not made any derogatory remarks against any woman,” Aryan stated in the video, which he has published to address the controversy. Despite this, he is obligated to appear before the police as ordered.
