Pune: PMC issues notice to Bajaj Allianz House for unauthorised construction

Pune : The Pune Municipal Corporation’s (PMC) Building Development Department has issued a show-cause notice to Bajaj Allianz House on Airport Road over unauthorised construction. PMC’s Building Development Department number 4 designated officer and Deputy Engineer Yogendra Sonawane has issued the notice. The company has been asked to file its say within 15 days.

Bajaj Allianz House’s fifth and sixth floors have been built at the White House society on Airport Road in Yerwada. The 300 sq m construction has been done without the PMC’s permission. Since the construction rules have been violated, the company has been issued the notice.

The notice seeks an explanation from the company within 15 days, failing which the unauthorised construction will be razed. The expenditure for the same will be recovered from the company, stated the notice.
