Sahakar Nagar police station: Accused absconding for one year arrested
PUNE : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime News | The police have arrested a criminal who was absconding after assaulting a person with a sickle in the limits of Sahakar Nagar police station. His accomplices have already been arrested and the chargesheet has already been submitted in the court. (Pune Crime News)
The arrested accused has been identified as Aditya Padmakar Dakle alias Shendya (20), a resident of Taljai Vasahat, Padmavati. On March 17, 2022, accused Shendya and his accomplices Amit Sanjay More (26), a resident of Padmavati, Rohan Raju Arday, Sonya Gaikwad (20), a resident of Taljai vasahat had assaulted a person with a sickle.
After an FIR was registered at the Sahakar Nagar police station, the police arrested Amit More and Rohan Arday. However, accused Shendya was absconding for a year. When the Sahakar Nagar police were searching for him, policemen Mahesh Mandlik and Vishal Wagh came to know that Shendya was at his house. The police laid a trap and arrested him. He is a criminal on record at the Sahakar Nagar police station. After the crime, he ran away and was hiding in Solapur and Dharashiv for some time.
Addl CP Pravinkumar Patil, DCP Smartana Patil, ACP Narayan Shirgaonkar, Sr PI Savlaram Salgaonkar, PI (crime) Manoj Shedge guided a team of officials including API Sameer Shende, policemen Bapu Khutvad, Bhujang Ingle, Sushant Farande, Bajrang Pawar, Mahesh Mandalik, Navnath Shinde, Sagar Sutkar, Sagar Kumbhar, Vishal Wagh and Khandu Shinde in carrying out the operation.
