Central Railway starts summer special trains to Konkan region

Since the number of people going to the Konkan region has increased, the trains are overcrowded. The CR has started special trains to accommodate the passengers traveling to the coastal region. From Pune and Panvel, 16 trains will be operated to Ratnagiri. These weekly special trains will be unreserved.
Pune-Ratnagiri train will be operated from May 4 to 25 on every Thursday from Pune at 8.50 pm. The train will reach Ratnagiri on Friday at 7.30 am. The train will depart from Ratnagiri on Saturday at 1 pm and reach Pune on the same day at 11.55 pm. The train will have halts at Lonavla, Kalyan, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Savarda, Arvali Rasta and Sangmeshwar Rasta.
