Rajasthan’s All Inter-State Borders will be Sealed, Ban on Unauthorized Movement

Jaipur : Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that all the inter-state boundaries of the state would be sealed with immediate effect by the state government to prevent the entry of unauthorized persons from the inter-state boundaries of the state. Making a major decision in the review meeting on Wednesday, Gehlot said that there has been an unprecedented increase in infection cases in many states of the country in the past.

In the last three days, 10,000 cases have been reported across the country. He said that it has been decided to seal the borders due to the possibility of entry of people from other states of the country in large numbers without permission. The Chief Minister said, “In this hour of crisis, protecting the lives of the people of the state is our top priority.”

The Chief Minister directed that, for this, the Chief Secretary should write a letter to the Chief Secretaries of all other states informing them that only those people of the category permitted in the guidelines of the Union Home Ministry will be allowed to come to Rajasthan, who will fulfill all its conditions and will also get prior consent of Rajasthan government.
