Pune Rural Police arrest a gang terrorising in Haveli area
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime | The Haveli Police have arrested five members of a sickle gang, who were terrorising people of the area with sickle. They attacked a woman as she asked them to ride their bike slowly. The incident took place on Sunday at Gorhe Budruk in Haveli taluka. The gang terrorised local people by abusing and harassing them. The arrested accused have been identified as Suraj Laginder Thakur (21), Nilesh Shriram Sah (23), Akshay Suresh Chavan (23), Sagar Kantu Patil (22) Nikun alias Aniket Vinayak Bhor (22), all from Haveli. Serious crimes like murder, attempt to murder, assault, extortion have been registered against this gang. A sickle has been seized from the arrested accused. The accused abused and physically assaulted the woman.
This action was taken by a team comprising PI Sadashiv Shelar of Haveli Police Station, API Niranjan Ranware, Nitin Nam, PSI Ambekar, Police Constables Patsarkar, Rane, Deepak Gaikwad, Rajendra Munde, Rajnikant Khandale, Maqsood Syed under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Ankit Goyal, Addl SP Mitesh Ghatte, Deputy Divisional Police Officer Bhausaheb Dhole Patil.
