Pune: Pune City Police Commissioner Ritesh Kumar Executes Extensive Transfers Ahead of Lok Sabha Elections 2024

Pune: In anticipation of the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Pune City Police Commissioner Ritesh Kumar has undertaken a strategic reshuffling of key positions within the Police Commissionerate. The transfer orders, issued on Wednesday (24th), are said to be done according to the guidelines set forth by the Central Election Commission and the Director General of Police.

Seventeen police inspectors have been transferred, in the latest order, to various departments and police stations in the city.

The following is a detailed list of the transferred officers and their new assignments:

2. Sunil Baburao Mane (Senior Police Inspector, Khadak Police Station, to Police Inspector, Crime Branch Technical Analysis Wings (T.A.W.)

3. Ravindra Manohar Gaikwad (Senior Police Inspector, Vishrambaug Police Station, to Senior Police Inspector, Khadak Police Station)

4. Dipali Sachin Bhujbal (Senior Police Inspector, Crime Branch, Uttamnagar Police Station (under transfer orders), to Senior Police Inspector, Vishrambagh Police Station

5. Hemant Chandrakant Patil (Senior Police Inspector, Kothrud Police Station, to Police Inspector, Economic Offences Wing (EoW)

6. Sandeep Narayan Deshmane (Senior Police Inspector, Alankar Police Station, to Senior Police Inspector, Kothrud Police Station)

7. Sunil Pandurang Jaitapurkar (Senior Police Inspector, Warje Malwadi Police Station, to Court Company)

14. Ashwini Anil Satpute (Police Inspector, Crime Branch (Anti-Narcotics Squad-1) to Senior Police Inspector, Koregaon Park Police Station)

15. Neelam Shashikant Bhagat (Police Inspector, Economic Offences Branch, to Police Inspector, Court Awar)

16. Srihari Ramchandra Bahirat (Police Inspector, Crime Branch Unit-3 to Police Inspector, Crime Branch (Prosecution Cell)

17. Rajendra Shawarsiddh Landge (Police Inspector, Control Room to Police Inspector Crime Branch (Anti-Narcotics Cell-1)

In addition, Inspector of Police (Crime) Warje Malwadi Police Station, Ajay Kulkarni, and Inspector of Police (Crime) Chaturshringi Police Station, Ankush Chintaman, have been assigned to hold charge as Senior Police Inspector of Warje Malwadi and Chaturshringi Police Stations, respectively, until further orders.
