Pune Police Crime Branch News | Crime Branch arrests accused in murder case in Katraj

PUNE : Pune Police Crime Branch News | A team of Pune police Crime Branch unit 2 has arrested an accused from Katraj Gaon area. An FIR is registered against him at the Bharati Vidyapeeth police station. The accused has been arrested within 12 hours of the crime.

 

The arrested accused has been identified as Popat Namdev Malve (42), a resident of Katrajgaon. PSI Nitin Kamble and Havaldar Namdev Renuse had received information about the accused.

 

After verifying the information, the police laid a trap in Katrajgaon and arrested the accused. The accused has been handed over to the Bharati Vidyapeeth police for further action.

 

CP Retesh Kumaarr, Joint CP Sandeep Karnik, Addl CP Ramnath Pokale, DCP Amol Zende, ACP Sunil Pawar guided PI Krantikumar Patil, PSI Nitin Kamble, policemen Namdev Renuse, Shankar Nevse, Amol Sarde, Pushpendra Chavan, Sameer Patel, Mohsin Shaikh, Nikhil Jadhav, Sadhana Tamhane and Nagnath Rath in taking the action.
