Pune News | Sasoon Hospital Launches Code Blue Team for Emergency Care
Pune News | Sasoon Hospital, known for its commitment to providing quality healthcare services, has recently introduced the “Code Blue Team” to address emergency situations within the hospital’s jurisdiction. The team was inaugurated by Dr. Sanjeev Thakur, emphasizing the hospital’s dedication to patient care.
The Code Blue team comprises three intensive care specialists and three doctors who will be available during all three shifts. Dr. Kirankumar Jadhav, Dr. Sujit Kshirsagar, Dr. Dhananjai Ugale, Dr. Rahul Pandit, Gaurav Mahapure, and Mangal Mendhe have been entrusted with the responsibility of implementing the Code Blue protocol under the guidance of Dr. Thakur.
The primary objective of the Code Blue team is to provide immediate medical attention to patients who are found unconscious or experience a heart attack within the hospital’s jurisdiction. This initiative ensures that critical patients receive prompt and specialized care, increasing their chances of survival and recovery.
The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of esteemed medical professionals, including Dr. Naresh Jhanjhad, Dr. Aarti Kinikar, Dr. Yallappa Jadhav, Dr. Sunil Bhamre, along with the heads of various departments. The event also had the participation of Vimal Kedar, Ratnamala Sonavalkar, Prof. Kalpana Kamble, and Nivrutti Jori.
