Pune News | Hemant Rasane presents list of problems in Kasba Peth to civic chief

PUNE : Pune News | The former chairman of the standing committee of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), Hemant Rasane, presented a list of problems being faced by residents of Kasba Peth to Municipal Commissioner and Administrator Vikram Kumar and demanded that civic problems should be solved at the earliest. Rasane stated in the letter that there are problems regarding water supply and footpaths. There is a lack of parking area and the toilets have not been cleaned, he stated.

 

The BJP is communicating with the electorate about the problems in Kasba Peth constituency. The process has been going on for four months and Rasane met Vikram Kumar as a part of this exercise. Rasane submitted a letter to the civic chief regarding pending problems in Kasba Peth. Rasane told Kumar that all wards of Kasba Peth face drinking water problems. The residents are upset about inadequate water supplied with low pressure and irregular timings. The roads have been dug up for various works and citizens are facing a problem while commuting and moving about. Rasane told Kumar that it is necessary to repair roads, potholes and carry out asphalting of roads.

 

The residents are also facing the problem of parking. Parking signages have not been placed and some are non readable. Footpaths have been encroached upon at many places, zebra crossing marks are not clear and cleaning of drains and pipelines has not happened. The condition of public toilets is very bad and they are not regularly cleaned. Some trees have overgrown and are obstructing traffic but their cutting has not been done. Street lights are not working and the CCTV cameras are not functioning, Rasane pointed to the civic chief.
