Pune Crime News | Pune: Mundhwa police arrest two persons for spreading terror in Keshav Nagar area, Parade them

PUNE : Pune Crime News | The Mundhwa police have arrested two persons for spreading terror in Keshav Nagar area and seized a sharp weapon used by them.

 

The accused have been identified as Sopan Rameshwar Sawant (22), a resident of Fursungi and Abhishek Sanjay Jarande (20), a resident of Mundhwa. The accused had gone to a medical shop in Keshav Nagar and after purchasing some items, refused to pay money and assaulted the employees after brandishing a sharp weapon. An FIR is registered at the Mundhwa police station.

 

The police carried out an investigation and arrested Sopan Sawant and Abhishek Jarande. The accused, Sawant, had dumped the sharp weapons used in the crime in a lane. The police took the accused to the spot and seized the weapon. Since the criminal has been arrested, the businessmen in Mundhwa-Keshav Nagar and women are feeling safe. The citizens have expressed satisfaction about the swift action taken by the police.

 

 

CP Ritesh Kumar, Joint CP Sandeep Karnik, Addl CP Ranjan Kumar Sharma, DCP Vikrant Deshmukh and ACP Ashwini Rakh guided Sr PI Vishnu Tamhane who instructed API Sameer Karpe, API Sandip Jore, PSI Dhananjay Gade, policemen Dinesh Rane, Vaibhav More, Sachin Borate, Datta Jadhav, Swapnil Raskar and Sachin Patil in taking the action.
Sr PI Vishnu Tamhane has appealed to people to lodge a complaint at the Mundhwa police station if anyone is spreading terror or threatening people.
