Pune: Illegal Occupation and Assault Case! 15 Arrested for Trespassing in Mundhwa

 

Pune: In a shocking incident at Keshavnagar Mundhwa Survey No. 9/14, a case has been registered against 15 individuals for illegally occupying a property and assaulting the rightful owner. The complainant, Paul Francis Insole (55, a resident of Anantavihar, Santnagar, Lohegaon), filed a complaint at Mundhwa Police Station, leading to the arrest of several suspects.

The accused have been identified as Amit Ambadas Jadhav (34), Prakash Suresh Jadhav (34), Vijay Shankar Jadhav (43), Tushar Rajendra Jadhav (34), Chandrakant Suresh Jadhav (34), Sandeep Ashok Jadhav (26), Deepika Ravi Gaikwad (28), Sunita Bharat Gaikwad (45), Yogita Bajrang Gaikwad (26), Gauri Tushar Jadhav (25), Kajal Prakash Jadhav (26), and Sneha Chandrakant Jadhav (25, resident of Sarvodaya Colony, Mundhwa, Pune).

The charges pressed against them include IPC sections 447, 504, 506, 143, 147, and 149. According to the police, the plaintiff’s company acquired a total of 10 acres of land in 2014 under an agreement for the development of four acres owned by Pinni Cooperative Housing Society and six acres owned by Sharad 3 Co-Op Housing Society at Survey No. 9/94, Keshavnagar Mundhwa.

Despite the plaintiff’s company being in possession of the property, the accused allegedly forcibly entered the premises by breaking the chain and lock of the compound. They reportedly threatened the company’s watchman, gathered an illegal mob, and entered the premises unlawfully.

During the confrontation, the accused verbally abused and physically assaulted the plaintiff, Paul Francis Insole, and allegedly issued threats of harm. Assistant Police Inspector Mali is leading the ongoing investigation into the matter.
