Pune: Ex-Boyfriend Abused and Assaulted Girlfriend Over Break-Up Issue

Pune: On Sunday, April 14, a 24-year-old girl filed a complaint against her ex-boyfriend for abusing her and assaulting her with hands at Mundhwa police station. In this regard, Mundhwa police registered a case against the accused.

The accused has been identified as Tosif Harun Pathan (30), residing near Pashankar Gas Agency, Loni Kalbhor, Pune. As per the police complaint, the accused, Tosif Pathan, and the plaintiff girl were girlfriend-boyfriends, and they were both in a relationship with each other. However, a few days ago, they had a breakup, after which the girl decided to be away from the accused.

Therefore, the accused was forcing the girl to talk to him again and was constantly chasing him for that. In the latest such incident, when the plaintiff girl went to a hotel in the Keshavnagar area with her friends on Saturday, April 13, at around 7.30 p.m., Tosif came there and again started talking to her.

Tosif chased the plaintiff and requested that she talk to him. However, when the plaintiff expressed her wish not to talk with him again, the accused got furious, and he abused the girl. Furthermore, he also assaulted the girl with his hands.

Based on the complaint filed by a plaintiff, Mundhwa Police registered a case against Tosif Harun Pathan under IPC 323, and 504 and initiated further investigation into the case.
