Pune: Discontent Surfaces Within BJP! Former MP Sanjay Kakade Voices Opposition to Pune Candidate Muralidhar Mohol (Videos)

Pune: In the run-up to the Lok Sabha elections, dissatisfaction within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ranks has surfaced once again, this time in Pune, as former BJP MP Sanjay Kakade openly expresses his displeasure against the party’s candidate, Muralidhar Mohol. Kakade’s discontent found a platform on social media, where he aired his grievances directly on Facebook, sparking a debate within the party.

The rift within the BJP gained further traction when Public Works Minister Ravindra Chavan paid a visit to Kakade’s residence in Pune to address his concerns regarding the Pune Lok Sabha candidate. Kakade’s Facebook post detailed his conversation with Chavan, where he candidly expressed his disappointment and shared insights into the ground realities of the Pune Lok Sabha constituency.

“I expressed my anguish and the ground realities of the Pune Lok Sabha to Minister Ravindra Chavan. During his visit, he assured me that he would convey my concerns and the interests of the party to our senior leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis,” Kakade wrote in his post, hoping for a favourable resolution to the issue.

Meanwhile, in Amravati, the BJP announced the nomination of incumbent MP Navneet Rana as its candidate for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, putting an end to speculation. However, the decision has not been without controversy, as leaders within the Mahayuti alliance, including Aanandrao Adsul and his Abhijit Adsul of Shiv Sena’s Shinde group and MLA Bachhu Kadu of Prahar Party, expressed opposition to Rana’s candidature.

The dissenting voices within the Mahayuti alliance pose a challenge to the BJP’s campaign efforts in Amravati, with Ravi Rana, Navneet Rana’s spouse, urging Bachhu Kadu to extend his blessings to Navneet Rana. All eyes are now on Kadu’s response, as his endorsement could significantly impact Rana’s campaign in Amravati.
