Pune Crime | Youth indulges in obscene behaviour in front of girl on Tilak Road

Pune : NpNews24 Online  – Pune Crime | An incident has been reported wherein a young girl who was going to attend her classes was molested by an unknown person. The youth opened the chain of his trouser and indulged in an obscene act. A case has been registered at Vishrambaug police station against an unknown person. The police have registered an FIR against the accused under sections 354, 354 (A) (D) and 509 of the IPC.

A 25-year-old girl staying in Navi Peth has filed a complaint with the Vishrambaug police station. The incident took place on January 10, 2022 from 6.30 am to 8.15 am on Shastri Road and Tilak Road. The girl has filed a late complaint. The police registered a case after the girl filed a complaint and are searching for the accused.

According to the information given by the police, the girl is appearing for a competitive exam and is studying for the same. On January 10, she was going to her class. When she was passing by Saffron Hotel on Shastri Road, a youth gestured towards her and pulled down the chain of his trouser and indulged in an obscene act. He also said vulgar things to her. He also chased for some distance.

Since the girl was scared, she did not complain to the police. On Sunday (April 9), she filed a complaint with the police.
