Pune Crime News | Man Arrested for Threatening to Plant Bomb at Dadar Railway Station

Pune : Pune Crime News |  Loni Kalbhor Police have taken swift action and registered a case against a young man who made a threatening call, claiming to have planted a bomb at Mumbai’s Dadar railway station. The Mumbai Railway Police responded promptly to the call, thoroughly inspecting the station for any suspicious objects. Fortunately, no bomb-like item was found during the investigation.

 

The individual responsible for the threat has been identified as Yogesh Shivaji Dhere, aged 35 and residing in Janwadi, near Vitthal Mandir, Gokhalenagar. Police constable Prashant Sutar filed a complaint at the Loni Kalbhor police station, providing crucial information about the incident. It was reported that the accused, Dhere, contacted the Pune Police control room using a mobile phone and issued a bomb threat specifically targeting Dadar railway station in Mumbai. Upon receiving this alarming information, the Pune Police immediately alerted the Mumbai Railway Police, enabling them to take swift action. The law enforcement authorities inspected Dadar railway station meticulously, but no explosive device was found.

 

Following the threat, the police control room initiated an investigation into the mobile number used to make the call. Through technical analysis, it was determined that the mobile number belonged to Yogesh Dhere. Consequently, the police have registered a case against Dhere, and Assistant Police Inspector Khairnar has been entrusted with the investigation.
