Pune Crime News | Kondhwa police busts inter-state gang of robbers who committed house robberies and stole vehicles; Seven crimes come to light
PUNE : Pune Crime News | The Kondhwa police have busted a gang of notorious criminals from outside the state who were carrying out house robberies and vehicle thefts in Pune city and rural areas. An investigation has proved that the gang has carried out robberies in Pune city and rural areas. Seven crimes have come to light from the accused and goods worth ₹8 lakh have been seized from them. The Kondhwa police took the action on June 21 at Kanha Hotel Chowk.
When officials and policemen of Kondhwa police station were patrolling in their jurisdiction, PI Sandeep Bhosale got the information that an inter-state gang carrying out house robberies was staying in Chambhli area of Saswad and the gang leader was going to come at Kanha Hotel Chowk. Accordingly, the police laid a trap and apprehended Surendra Aslaramji Chaudhary (28), a resident of Jalore district, Rajasthan.
When the police questioned the accused, he admitted committing house robbery at Ajmera Park in Kondhwa with his accomplices. He also admitted stealing Eco car (MH12 NU 337) opposite Pratham Prestige Complex, Bolero pick-up (MH12 KP 4544) opposite Pataskar Hospital at Moshi Chowk in Bhosari, committing robbery at grocery shop at Chandoli Khu village in Manchar taluka, Gurukrupa Traders in Lonikand, stealing Swift car (MH12 KE 455) from Maruti Suzuki showroom in Yavat. The accused admitted committing thefts with the help of Nemaram alias Daularam Chaudhary and Bhundaram alias Raju Chaudhary.
The police have seized ₹3 lakh cash, pick up truck worth ₹3 lakh, eco car worth ₹1 lakh and Maruti Swift car worth ₹4 lakh totally worth ₹8 lakh and instruments used for committing house robberies. The accused have committed thefts in the jurisdiction of Kondhwa, Manchar, Lonikand, Bhosari and Yavat police stations.
The accused and his aides are notorious criminals. Twenty one cases of house robberies are pending against them at APMC police station Mumbai and other cases and action has been taken against them under MCOCA. The accused had been released on bail and they were stealing vehicles and committing house robberies. The accused have stolen grocery items worth ₹10 lakh, it has come to light.
The action was taken by API Anil Suravse, policemen Amol Hirve, Ganesh Chinchkar, Abhijit Ratnaparkhi, Suhas More, Rahul Thorat, Vikas Margale, Rahul Rasge and Rahul Vajari under the instructions of Senior PI Santosh Sonwane, PI Sanjay Mogle, PI Sandeep Bhosle and under the guidance of CP Retesh Kumaarr, Joint CP Sandeep Karnik, Addl CP Ranjan Kumar Sharma, DCP Vikram Deshmukh and ACP Shahurao Salve.
