Pune ACB Trap News | PMC employee arrested by ACB while accepting bribe of ₹1 lakh

PUNE : Pune ACB Trap News | An employee of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has been arrested while accepting a bribe of ₹1 lakh. This has created a flutter in civic circles. An FIR has been registered against the concerned persons.
The accused has been identified as Pravin Dattatray Pasalkar (50), PMC, Pune.

 

The complainant retired as assistant from PMC’s health department. Pasalkar had demanded a bribe of ₹1 lakh for handing over a cheque of encashment of his earned leaves.

Pravin Pasalkar accepted a bribe of ₹1 lakh after demanding it in the premises of PMC headquarters in the presence of panches. He was arrested red handed.

 

Pune ACB SP Amol Tambe and Addl SP Sheetal Janve guided officials in taking the action, informed DySP Nitin Jadhav in a press release.
