Pune Crime News | Goon creates ruckus at petrol pump after being told to pay for fuel; Damages machines at the pump by throwing stones

PUNE : Pune Crime News | A gangster got the fuel tank in his motorcycle filled with petrol and when asked to pay, he created a ruckus and damaged the machinery at the petrol pump. The employees of the pump caught hold of the self-styled ‘bhai’ and handed him over to the police.

The Hadapsar police have registered an FIR against Vaibhav Ankush Bhagat (30), a resident of Hadapsar.
Amol Bhagwat Devkar (27), a resident of Hadapsar, has lodged a complaint (912/23) at the Hadapsar police station. The incident took place at the Jai Shambho petrol pump at Fursungi on Thursday at 4.45 am.

 

According to the police, two people came to Jai Shambho petrol pump at 4 am. Shivaji Surve filled petrol worth ₹100 in their vehicle. When Surve asked for money, the rider of the motorcycle told him that his name was Vaibhav Bhagat and nobody could do any harm to him. He said he was not scared of the police and asked Surve to fill the tank of his motorcycle.
When Surve refused, Bhagat picked up a stone and hurled it on the petrol pump’s machinery and damaged it. Hence, the complainant filled the tank of his vehicle. Even after the tank was filled, he picked up stones and started damaging the machines at the pump.

 

He also threw stones on the windshield of the cars parked nearby and damaged them. He opened the door of the car and stole money. The workers of the pump had informed the police. The owner of the petrol pump, Raviraj Deshmukh, also arrived. All of them caught hold of Vaibhav Bhagat. Police Naik Kamble, Bhosle and Kumbhar arrived at the pump. They handed over Bhagat to the police.
