Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering | C-DAC to start new technical courses in association with Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) College of Engineering, Pune

Pune : Bharati Vidyapeeth College of EngineeringWith an aim to enhance competency and value addition to regular engineering curriculum in line with the rapidly changing industry landscape Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) College of Engineering, Pune (BV(DU)COE) has come up with unique programs for its students in collaboration with C-DAC Pune , which will be executed at BV(DU)COE from coming academic year 2023-24.

 

Principal, Dr. Vidula Sohoni, informed that BV(DU)COE has always endeavored towards innovative approaches to carry out the multidisciplinary courses under one roof. She informed that BV(DU)COE has been successfully registered on the portal of NASSCOM through C-DAC Pune. Further she also said BV(DU)COE is one of the first five SPOKES to be registered by C-DAC Pune. The training programmes on Augmented and Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence will be conducted online which is a course of 120 hrs, wherein students can complete the course as per their available time schedule, after successful completion of the course, C-DAC, Pune will issue Certificates under Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and NASSCOM. She informed that C-DAC has assured all the necessary assistance required to execute this program successfully.

 

Dr. Deepak Bankar, Head of Electrical and Computer Engineering, informed that The Future Skills PRIME programme on emerging technologies such as Augmented and Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence,  is an initiative taken by C-DAC to provide quality training programs in the field of Electronics and Information and Communication Technology. The Future Skills PRIME project is an initiative of MEITY and NASSCOM.  He informed that students of BV(DU)COE enrolled to these courses, can seamlessly access free and paid content, assessments, virtual labs and get certified on the skills of their choice at a discounted fees of just Rs. 80/- as against Rs. 3390/- since  BV(DU)COE is registered as SPOKES.
