Pune Crime Accident News: Senior citizen seriously injured in a collision between car and two-wheeler at Nanded Phata on Sinhagad Road

Pune:  NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime Accident News | A senior citizen was seriously injured in a collision between a car and a two-wheeler in front of Radha-Krishna restaurant near Nanded Phata on Sinhagad road on Thursday morning. (Pune Crime Accident News)

 

The two-wheeler rider senior citizen was identified as Sitaram Mate, a resident of Khadakwasla. The gravity of the accident was evident from the mangled condition of the two-wheeler. The injured person was shifted to a nearby hospital by the car owner and passersby.

 

The car was travelling from Khadakwasla to Pune while the retired civic staffer, Mate, was heading towards Khadakwasla. The high-impact collision took place in front of Radha-Krishna restaurant. Mate was seriously hurt in it. The speedy car climbed over the median after the accident. The two-wheeler was divided into several parts while its front portion was severely dented.

 

Passersby and shopkeepers in the vicinity rushed to help after hearing a loud sound of the accident. People rushed the injured man to a nearby clinic, where the doctors advised to immediately shift him to a hospital in the city due to serious injuries. A huge crowd of onlookers gathered around the accident spot. The matter was not reported to the police even an hour after the accident.

The civic administration has neglected the need for a speed breaker at the spot. Since the road has been newly built, vehicles travel at high speeds. Many accidents occurred in the past few weeks on this road, in which casualties were reported. Local residents have been demanding speed breakers on the road; however, the PMC has ignored their demands. We will act immediately in this case.
