Pimpri Chinchwad : Case registered against husband of BJP corporator Kamal Gholap

Pimpri Chinchwad : A case has been registered against the husband of an existing BJP corporator of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation. He is accused of buying stolen goods. Police have registered a case against five persons in this regard.

What exactly is the case?
Five persons, including the husband of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation corporator Kamal Gholap, have been booked at the Mahalunge police station in Chakan for buying stolen goods from a private company in Pimpri’s Chakan MIDC.

Between December 20, 2020 and January 29, 2021, thieves stole materials worth Rs 2 lakh 40 thousand from a private company  . Police had arrested three people in connection with the case.

The police thoroughly investigated the thieves. They then confessed of selling the goods to absconding accused Bapu Gholap and Rashid. Police have registered a case and are searching for the two.
