Man killed in Akhad Party in Daund

A 35-year-old man was brutally killed during Akhad party at his home in Delwadi in Daund taluka on Sunday night.

The deceased has been identified as Swapnil Dnyandev Shelar.

The incident took place around 9.30 pm at Shelarvasti. The accused persons called him out of home and then attacked with sharp weapons. After that he was shot dead.

Police have recovered a pistol from the spot. The deceased’s family members said that he was an accused in a murder case. They have given names of some suspects to police.

Police inspector Suraj Bandgar of Yavat police station under Pune rural police is further investigating the case.
