Kashmir : Lashkar Terrorist Hideout Busted, 5 Arrested Including Lashkar Militant Zahoor Wani

Srinagar : Indian Army in Jammu and Kashmir has got a major breakthrough in Kashmir Valley. Security forces have arrested Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Zahoor Wani while busting a terrorist base in Budgam, Kashmir. Security forces have also recovered arms and ammunition from Zahoor.

Apart from this, four more terrorists have also been arrested by the security forces after questioning. All these people used to provide shelter to Lashkar terrorists and provide them with logistic materials. According to the police, the group was active in the area for the past few months.

Used to help terrorists this way

Zahoor kept his hideout in the forest area far from his house. The security forces were also surprised to see a cave hideout in which a large number of ammunition and weapons were kept. Zahoor not only provided ration and food items to Lashkar terrorists but also provided them the facility of transportation to and fro. The police have arrested all these and sent them to jail and a case has been registered.

Earlier, police arrested four Jaish-e-Mohammed militants in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday. The arrested people used to provide shelter, equipment and other assistance to Jaish-e-Mohammed’s active militants in the forest area of Khru and Tral. These people have been identified as Shabir Ahmed, Sheeraj Ahmed Dar, Shafat Ahmed Mir and Ishfaq Ahmed Shah. All of them are residents of Bathen in Khru region of Avantipura, Pulwama.

The action of security forces against the terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir is going on continuously. A few days ago, security forces had piled up some terrorists in Handwara. Not only this, a terrorist was also arrested.
