MUMBAI: NP NEWS 24 ONLINE- After a long time, the Shiv Smarak was to be inaugurated today, but the accident happened to a boat which was going for the inauguration. There were 25 people seated in this boat. The inauguration program has been cancelled due to this incident. The disaster management department has rescued all the people from the boat and shifted them to a safe place, but one of them is still missing.

At around three o’clock in the afternoon, three to four boats were sent from the Gate Way of India for the inauguration of the Shiv Smarak. One of them came near Shiv Smarak and hit the rock, resulted in water gets filled in it. After that, the Coast Guard was called at around 4 pm. A team of emergency disaster arrived at the site.

AS these boats were going to without taking any kind of advice from the fishermen, neither took the proper information of the place.
