Irrigation Scam | Ajit Pawar has not been given a clean chit in irrigation scam, says BJP MLC Shrikant Bharatiya
PIMPRI: Irrigation Scam | The General Secretary of BJP and MLC Shrikant Bharatiya said, “We have not split any party and some people have come here. Ajit Pawar has not joined the BJP and his party has joined the government. Ajit Pawar has not been given a clean chit in the irrigation scam and a probe is underway,” Bharatiya said.
He was speaking to journalists in Pimpri. Former chairman of PCNTDA Sadashiv Khade, former corporator Moreshwar Shedge, Raju Durge and Rajesh Pillay were present.
“The decision taken by Ajit Pawar to join the government is in the interest of the state and 12.5 crore residents. The forming of the Shinde-Fadnavis government was to ensure the welfare of the common man. If a decision is taken in the interest of the people, then they accept it. It is very important that another party also feels that Narendra Modi should become the PM,” he said.
“The common man had voted for the BJP based on the performance from 2014 to 2019 period. The government which came to power in 2019 was not formed on the principles of justice. Hence, efforts were made to form a people’s government and such a government was formed,” he added.
