In the world of #MeToo 4 women arrested for making vulgar gestures at men 

NP NEWS 24 ONLINE –  In this world of #MeToo, where women are being harassed daily by the dominating men of the society, we don’t really pay any attention to the fact that even men can get harassed or abused by the women in the society. When ever someone come up with such kind of compliant we tend to laugh on it and call him Weak.

In a shocking incident in country’s capital, where woman have found harassing and abusing a man. We often see eve teasing being done by men on women but women in Delhi has teased men by doing vulgar gestures at them. Police has arrested 4 woman in this case.

Police went to Rohini area to raid as they got information that there was a sex racket operating in that area. Police has a doubt that these woman are the actual sex workers. When police was patrolling the street they found that they these 4 women are making vulgar gestures while looking at men.

Police told that these women have not yet agreed that they are sex workers but the police are investigating further in this matter. The police are still searching for the sex racket in the area.

Section 294 of the Indian Penal Code lays down the punishment for obscene acts or words in public. The other sections of Indian Penal code which deal with obscenity are 292 and 293. The law does not clearly define what would constitute an obscene act, but it would enter the domain of the state only when it takes place in a public place to the annoyance of others. Temple art or nakedness of sadhus are traditionally outside the purview of this section.
