Kedarnath : Will it be a successful pilgrimage of love?

NP NEWS 24 ONLINE- The Bollywood movie Kedarnath: A pilgrimage of love starring actors Sara Ali Khan who is Saif Ali Khan and his ex-wife Amrita Singh’s daughter along with Sushant Singh Rajput which is on the verge of releasing on 7 December, Friday is facing some real issues.

Kedarnath is a town in Uttarakhand which faced a flood tragedy in 2013 and many people lost their lives. Since the release of the move, fans and public are criticizing it. Now, the movie is stuck revolving around issues of judiciary and court.

On Tuesday, a plea has been filed against the director of this movie Abhishek Kapoor in the Uttarakhand High Court as the movie has been claimed to hurt the sentiments of Hindu religion.

The Public Interest Litigation(PIL) has been filed against Swami Darshan Bharti. According to him, the movie hurts sentiments of Hindu religion and is stain on such a pios shrine of Hindus.

Earlier, another plea was filed in the Bombay High Court against the movie claiming it to inspire ‘Love Jihad’. Advocate Rameshchandra Mishra and Prabhakar Tripathi have claimed that such film which is based on twisted Hindu-Muslim love story which is unacceptable.

Also, according to them the movie has offensively changed many facts of the Uttarakhand flood tragedy which took place in year 2013 and several pilgrims lost their lives. Year 2013, was a turmoil which brought devastation to various families when they lost their loved ones.

Chairman of an organization of priests in Kedarnath, Vinod Shukla said, “If this is movie is not banned from release, nation will have to face outrage and various protests will start.

On the claim of Love Jihad, Sara Ali Khan had tried to prove all the claims to be wrong and said that this film does not show any such offensive content. It reflects how the life of two people revolves in the Kedarnath tragedy.

Amidst of all criticizing the movie, will the movie get released and viewers will get a treat to watch the pilgrimage of Sara and Sushant’s Love?
