Member of Parliament Udayanraje Bhosale and the  descendant of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, NCP (Nationalist Congress Party) speaking to media at a press conference attacks and target both the ruling BJP party as well as the opposition parties for not solving the Maratha quota issue.

He claims that for Maratha reservation one must have will-power in government and the priority of such issues that needed by government.

Udayanraje warned all of the elected representatives across political parties to act rapidly in giving the Maratha quota reservation otherwise the situation will get out of control and will result in a violence bigger than what is expected.

Udayanraje said, “Either allot the quota within a set time frame or tell the public that you will keep it prolonging for next 30 years but don’t misled different communities like Maratha, Dhangar, Muslim or others.”

On Friday Bhosale was in Pune city organised a press conference at VVIP circuit house near Queen’s Garden.

Bhosale said, “I am hear not to portray by leadership neither for any publicity, I am hear to raise voice on behave of Maratha community as I am bound for it.”

Before holding the press conference Bhosale had a brief meeting with the Maharashtra State Backward Class Commission (MSBC) former justice M G Gaikwad. He requested him to submit the report as early as possible.

Bhosale said, “Maratha reservation request is one of the minute plea that are been demanded by the community. This is been their demand for last three decades which are not addressed and resolved for many years. The failure of such is due to political decision as well will power of the government not think upon. Last one and half years across Maharashtra total 58 silent march were organised by Maratha Kranti Morcha but non of them were violence. But understanding the current violent scenario,  it seems people have become impatient and panic. Such reservation promises were given by government which are still unheard.”

He went on, “The Supreme court has given some ray of hope on the Atrocity act guidelines but few month later, the Central government turtled and undue the decision of the SC and favour the other community such has been given green signal in a day night then why cant the Maratha’s woes can be fulfilled. ”

“The decision made in the council will be monitor minutely keeping in mind of people justice oriented and I am bound for Maratha Community and I will make sure such protest will not be of violence one even will take care of not to destroy public property or any damaged.” Said Bhosale.

He also added, “Maratha community has made a moderate demand of reservation. Maratha Communities people would not have committed suicide if the reservation was given in time.”

He added, “Instead of government hearing the greviances of Maratha, cases of robbery, manhanding the policemen, thieves are been registered against them. I request to take such case back and hear their grievances. Untill now the community is doing things in their own way but in future if their greviances are not been redress then the current situation of violences which has trigger the violence soon will be spread like a forest fire.”

On Suicide and the agitation he appeal, “Please its an appeal do not commit suicide, I am bond to you all. I know it take lot of courage to come before a moving train or commit suicide but do not do it as government is not very sensitive to hear you despite such extreme steps.”
