GOM promises RS.25 Lakh each, to security personnel family

Npnews24 online, Gadchiroli: In the recent attack on security personnel vehicle, 15 C-60 commandos, including driver were killed in a blast triggered by Maoists in Kurkheda tehsil of Gadchiroli district on Wednesday. Approaching help to their families, Maharashtra state government declared Rupees 25 Lakh each to the family of victims.

 State government will provide new houses to them, sponsoring children’s education, said state forest minister Sudhir Mungantiwar.

The C-60 Force, comprising locals as well as police personnel, was formed to tackle the Naxal menace. Several more troopers were injured and the two vehicles were blown to pieces in the attack.

In Maharashtra state of Bhandara, Gondia, Chandrapur left-wing extremism is highly operated, but in the last four year state force did a remarkable work killing to more than 98 Maoist during one of the secret operation.
