Global Teacher awardee Disale apologises to Solapur ZP CEO

Solapur  : NpNews24 OnlineSolapur News | Global Teacher awardee Ranjitsinh Disale was in news over his application for a long leave last week. He sought leave to pursue a doctorate in the USA. However, his leave was put on hold. Hence, he alleged that some ZP officials were harassing him and demanding money to sanction leave. He was later issued a notice to explain his allegations by the ZP CEO. Now, he has apologised to the ZP administration for his allegations.

 

Disale needed leave to pursue a scholarship given by Fulbright Foundation. He alleged that the education department kept his leave application on hold for 1.5 months. He was harassed and money was demanded. A report was released by a probe panel which looked into a complaint that he had stayed away from his duty for a long period of time. State Education Minister intervened in the matter and asked the ZP administration to grant his leave. The matter did not end there. Disale made allegations against the ZP administration before the media. The administration took the matter seriously.

 

ZP CEO Dilip Swami issued a notice to him seeking to explain how he was harassed and who demanded money. Disale apologised to the administration on Tuesday. He requested to put a full stop to the matter and assured that he would not speak to the media henceforth. His apology has become a talking point in the ZP.

 

Two-page reply to the notice

Disale submitted a two-page reply to the ZP CEO’s notice. He has apologised for levelling allegations against the administration. He has also assured the CEO that he would not address the media henceforth. The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) has also written a letter to him, which has added to his problems. He took salary for three years without working at the DIET.
