Gang of criminals assault youth; FIR registered at Dattawadi police station

Saksham Vikas Shinde (17), a resident of Warje Malwadi, has lodged a complaint (109./23) at the Dattawadi police station. Accordingly, the police have registered an FIR of attempt to murder against Aman Zarekar, Samir Hatangale, Abhijeet Patil, Pramod Kalambe, Aditya Kharat and his aides. The incident took place at survey number 132 on Sinhagad Road on Sunday at 10 pm.
According to the police, the complainant and his friend Adesh Mhaske were going to get the complainant’s two-wheeler’s puncture removed. The accused, who were known to them, came there. The accused had arguments with Adesh Mhaske’s brother. They started abusing Adesh and the complainant and Adesh ran away. The accused got hold of the complainant and they kicked him and assaulted with a sharp weapon. The complainant received serious injuries. Many locals gathered at the spot but were threatened by the accused who created terror in the area. API Dongre is probing the case.
