Unmarried girl throws new-born baby out of window leading to its death; Shocking act of 19-year-old girl

Pune : NpNews24 Online  – Pune Crime News | An unmarried girl came to Navle Hospital located on Sinhagad Road to take treatment. She gave birth to a child in the toilet and threw the baby from the window of the bathroom which led to its death. (Pune Crime News)

The incident took place in the patient’s bathroom located near the casualty ward of Smit Kashibai Navale Medical College and General Hospital on Saturday at 10.30 am.

Nanda Dhavle (62), a resident of Baner, has lodged a complaint (165/23) at the Sinhagad Road police station. Accordingly, the police have registered an FIR against the 19-year-old girl.

According to the police, the accused stays in a hostel at Manaji Nagar. She was eight months pregnant after having a physical relationship. She had hidden this fact from everyone. Since she had a stomach ache, she went to Navale Hospital. She said she had a back ache and was feeling weak. She suppressed the fact that she was eight months pregnant. She later went to the patient’s toilet and gave birth to a girl. She threw the baby from the window of the toilet which led to its death. An FIR has been registered against the girl and she is being treated in the hospital. PSI Lad is probing the case.
