Three children leave home after being fed up with their mother’s beating; Police locate them after four hours

Pune : NpNews24 Online  – Pune Crime News | A nine-year-old girl left home with her six-year-old sister and five-year-old brother because she was fed up with her mother’s beating. The Loni Kalbhor police immediately formed four squads. They searched for the children and they were found outside a masjid in Pune Camp. (Pune Crime News)

 

A 30—year-old woman staying in Kadamwak Vasti, had lodged a complaint at the Loni Kalbhor police station. According to the police, the complainant’s husband works at Loni railway station. The complainant begs for alms outside a masjid during Ramzan. She used to always beat up her children. Hence, her nine-year-old daughter got irritated. On Sunday evening, she went out of the house with her six-year-old sister and five-year-old brother. Since the children did not come home, the woman approached the police.

 

The police began an immediate search as three children had gone missing. Four squads were set up to locate them. The CCTV footage of various areas near Kadamvak Vasti was checked. It was seen that they had boarded a bus to Pine. Later, a search was carried out in Pune. The police found the children outside Qureshi Masjid in Pune Camp. The police heaved a sigh of relief as their efforts were successful.

 

When the police questioned the girl, she said, “Our mother always scolds us and beats us up. Hence, I took my sister and brother and came to Pulgate. After walking in the Camp area, we stopped outside a masjid,”.
