Gang of 12 attacks man with sickle, tries to kill him

Dutta Vijay Shinde (23) from Katraj lodged a complaint at the Bharati Vidyapeeth Police Station. Accordingly, the police registered a case of attempt to murder against the gang. The incident took place in front of Kadam’s paan shop at the foothills of Sachchai Mata at 7:45pm on Tuesday.

According to the police, the complainant is a rickshaw driver. He was standing in front of Kadam’s Paan Shop with his rickshaw to service passengers. As many as 12 people came on four bikes. Looking at the complainant, they started shouting ‘This is him, this is him’. The complainant started running away. They ran after him and caught him. They beat him and seriously injured him by attacking on the head and hand with a sickle. His son Prathamesh Ghadge from Katraj was also beaten up and seriously injured.
