Pune: Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) President Raj Thackeray will speak at the election campaign meeting of Maha Yuti-BJP candidate Murlidhar Mohol.

Thackeray has become active in campaigning for the Maha Yuti candidates. He recently held a public meeting at Kankavli for Mah Yuti-BJP candidate and Union Minister Narayan Rane. A lot is being talked about that meeting. Now, Raj Thackeray is going to bat for Murlidhar Mohol in Pune.

Besides Mohol, Vasant More, who left the MNS and is contesting as the candidate of the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA), and Maha Vikas Aghadi-Congress candidate Ravindra Dhangekar are also in the fray in Pune.

Thackeray’s rally will be held on May 10 in the city. The venue is likely to be the vacant ground in the Mutha riverbed. However, there is no official word on the venue yet.

Raj Thackeray criticised Shiv Sena (UBT) President Uddhav Thackeray in Kankavli over the latter’s remark that industries from Konkan were shifted to Gujarat. Reacting to this Raj said, “Now, you are alleging that industries are shifted to Gujarat. But you were sharing power with the BJP from 2014 to 2019. Why didn’t you raise your voice then?”
