SSC busts ‘Sex’ racket at Femina Spa at Koregaon Park; two detained, three women rescued

Pune : NpNews24 Online  – Pune Crime News | The Social Security Cell (SS Cell) of Pune Police Crime Branch has busted a prostitution racket being run under the garb of a spa centre. This action was taken at Femina Spa at Koregaon Park, lane no. 5 on Tuesday. In this operation, three women were released and an FIR was filed against four persons. Two have been detained. The team of SSC got a tip-off that prostitution was going on at Femina Spa in Asiana Park Co Hsg Society in Koregaon Park. Accordingly, when the SSC sent decoy customers, they discovered prostitution being run in the name of massage parlour. The team conducted a raid and rescued three women. Two managers of the spa were detained. The team has registered a case against the manager, spa owner and the owner of the place at the Koregaon Park Police Station.
The detained manager and the victim women have been handed over to the Koregaon Park Police for further action.

The action was taken by a team comprising Sr PI Bharat Jadhav, API Ashwini Patil, Police Constables Rajendra Kumawat, Bab Karfe, Manisha Pukale, Tushar Bhivarkar, Amit Jamdade under the guidance of CP Retesh Kumaarr, Joint CP Sandeep Karnik, Addl CP Ramnath Pokale, DCP Amol Zende.
