Drought crisis is critical; Take action: Sharad Pawar

MUMBAI: NP NEWS 24 ONLINE- Nationalist Congress Party’s (NCP’s) president and Member of Parliament (MP) Sharad Pawar has given a letter to the Chief Minister (CM) Devendra Fadnavis to take a note of the seriousness of the state’s drought condition. So, that the state government should take steps to bring relief to the masses.

He has also sent some solutions, which are needed to deal with the drought crisis.

Due to the decrease in rainfall in most parts of Maharashtra, there has been situation of water scarcity in the winter season. The situation of state is becoming critical day by day due the drought. Especially due to disappointment by returning rains, Kharif crops have been affected, as well as rabi crops has come under the threat. Due to scarcity of drinking water and lack of animal feed, animals are also in danger. Therefore, Sharad Pawar has demanded that the state government should take action on it.

Sharad Pawar has also written a note to the steps taken to overcome the drought and said that the Chief Minister should take personal attention.

Sharad Pawar known as a farmer’s leader and the solving the farmers issue.  He have also served as country’s agricultural minister.
