Coronavirus : Too Much Use of Hand Sanitizer Dangerous, Learn How to Make It at Home

About 4800 people worldwide have died due to Covid-19, the dreaded corona virus. According to WHO report, you can use soap along with sanitizer to avoid corona virus. These options can be successful in killing the virus. But people are using more and more alcohol-containing sanitizers due to fear of corona virus. But you better know and keep on mind that using more sanitizers can make you more ill.

A research was done at the University of Melbourne. In which it came to light that after excessive use of alcohol based hand sanitizer, we are strengthening such bacteria which can prove to be dangerous for your body.

Makes skin dry
Alcohols used in hand sanitizers include isopropyl, ethanol, and n-propanol. Due to which your skin may become dry as well as irritation in the body. In addition, swelling of hands may occur.

Bring wrinkles
Excessive use of sanitizer can cause cracks, wrinkles etc. in your hands. Due to alcohol, the natural barriers of your hands are broken. With which you get swelling in your hands.

Weaken the immune system
We think that by using hand sanitizer we are protecting ourselves from many diseases including corona virus, then know that it can also weaken your immunity system. Many research has revealed that ultra-clean environment can reduce your immunity.

Contains many types of chemicals
Many types of chemicals are also used to increase the fragrance in the sanitizer. By using it more, this chemical can spoil your skin. In addition, skin allergies or hormones may change.

The smell of sanitizer can tell how much alcohol has been used in it. Most hand sanitizers contain alcohol that kills bacteria. Although the amount of alcohol present in a sanitizer is fixed, it can still cause poisoning. Experts believe that a little sanitizer is also equivalent to one shot of alcohol. How to make sanitizer at home
Having a sanitizer is considered better to avoid the corona virus. In such a situation, the sanitizer purchased from the market is becoming dangerous for your health, then you can make it at home also. Or if you are unable to buy it  or go to the market, then make it at home.

Alcohol Based Sanitizer :
– Two third cup alcohol
– One third cup aloe vera gel
– 8-10 drops of lavender or clove oil

Now :
Put all these things in a bowl and mix well. If it is too thin then add some more aloe vera. Store it in a plastic container.Your hand sanitizer is ready.

Non-Alcoholic Hand Sanitizer :

– 1 cup aloe vera gel
– One and a half tablespoons Witch Hazel
– 30 drops tea tree oil
– 5 drops aromatic oil

Now :
First, put aloe vera in a bowl and mix it a little. Then add Witch Hazel to it. After this, add tea tree oil and drops of fragrant oil to it. Now store it well in a container. Your hand sanitizer is ready.

However, the WHO has clarified that soap is the most effective weapon to prevent the corona virus. Washing hands repeatedly with soap will not prevent this virus from attacking you and if it is on your hands, the Harsh Chemical present in the soap will destroy it.
