Chief Minister’s helicopter ‘forgets’ route in Sangli

Sangli- NP NEWS 24 ONLINE- Once again Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’ helicopter took a wrong route in Sangli, where he had gone for review of various projects and take stock of the drought situation on Wednesday.

After a marathon meeting, Fadnavis left Sangli around 4.15 pm to address a rally of farmers in Kadoli, when the helicopter went on a wrong route.

Apart from Fadnavis, Cooperation Minister Subhash Deshmukh, BJP District President Prithviraj Deshmukh and the Chief Minister’s Personal Assistant Abhimanyu Pawar were present in the helicopter. The helicopter was hovering over Kolhapur city due to lack of signal.

Later, Prithviraj Deshmukh, who was in the helicopter, helped the pilot. He helped the pilot in giving direction towards Kadoli direction. They landed at the helipad in Warna. Fadnavis reached the venuew about 30 minutes late than his scheduled arrival time. Prithviraj Deshmukh confirmed the information about the helicopter’s direction.

This is not the first that something has happened to the helicopter of Fadnavis. After accident once, special care was taken during the Chief Minister’s visit. Even when selecting helipad, it was again being taken very cautiously.
