Body of woman PSI found in her Mumbai residence

MUMBAI : NpNews24 Online  –  Mumbai Police Crime News – WPSI Death | The body of a woman PSI has been found in her residence and it has created a flutter in the police department. The deceased PSI has been identified as Sheetal Yedke (35), a resident of Ahmednagar. She was stationed at Nehru Nagar police station in Kurla (E). She used to stay in Sharad Society located in Kamgar Nagar. (Mumbai Police Crime News – WPSI Death)

 

Sheetal Edke was sick since 18 months and she was unmarried. The neighbours of her fifth floor flat informed the police that a foul smell was emanating from her house. When the police opened the door, they found her body.

 

According to preliminary assessment, it seems that Sheetal may have died 3/4 days ago.
A case of accidental death has been registered, according to DCP Hemrajsingh Rajput of zone 6.
