Appointments of 800 MPSC pass-out students canceled

The appointments of 800 Maharashtra State Service Commission (MPSC) pass out students has been canceled by State government. Their opportunity for joining service get withdrawn. These students are selected for the post of Transport Inspector through MPSC in last year and now it has been canceled by the Nagpur bench.

Around 833 students are going to affect by this decision, who have passed the MPSC exam and now they will have to keep dreaming of becoming a transport inspector. These students have fall in big trouble as right now they don’t have any jobs in their hands.

For recruiting the highly educated students in transport department the State government had passed a Government Resolution (GR) in 2016 for relaxing the terms. The information about this had distributed to all engineering colleges in the State.

By following this, an advertisement has been given on January 29, 2017. After seeing the Regional Transport Office (RTO) advertisement, which came after four years of a span, around 70 thousands of students have filled the form for the same. 10 thousands of students were selected through the preliminary exam, which was taken in April month.

Then students started preparing for the Main exam. The Main exam was conducted on August 6, 2017. Its result was declared on March 31, 2018. 833 students were selected out of 10 thousand students. Even these students got the selection letters too. After this selection, these students were appreciated by their relatives and families. Student’s families also felt very proud of theirs’s success, for as they were selected out of 70 thousands of students.

Later on, these students were called for checking the documents on June 14, 2018. These success students were ready for checking the documents, but the letter of stopping selection procedure came at their hands because of court’s stay order on selection.

Now, the Nagpur High Court bench has directly canceled this selection. Students are feeling like they have wasted their two years for studying and didn’t get anything in return. Some students are feeling like their future get destroyed. Some students have alleged on the working of state government. According to students, court verdict against them because the state government is not working properly.

It started with the relaxation of the examination conditions by the state government. All students gave exam according to it. But, the Rajesh Fate filed a petition in the Nagpur Bench on February 27, 2018. According to his petition, State Government can’t relax the rules of the Centre. These students are now accusing the state government that, the state government hasn’t put their side properly in court.

Now, these students are demanding to put their side properly in Supreme Court. So that they are able to get their rights.
