Another youth dies for Maratha Reservation

Purandar, Pune

A 34-year-old man on Friday committed suicide by jumping infront of train in train in Purandar. A was recovered from his pocket in which it is mentioned that Maratha community should get reservation. The incident took place in Pingori village of Purandar taluka.

The deceased has been identified as Dattatray Tukaram Shinde. Officials from Jejuri police station under Pune rural police are further investigating the case.

There has been large scale agitation by Maratha community across Maharashtra for reservation. Properties worth crores have been damaged in the violence. Till now seven youths have died for Maratha reservation.
