Ahmedabad: Asked to pay fine for not wearing mask, woman threatens to frame policeman in false case

Ahmedabad : Ahmedabad city’s Sola police were checking on people who were not wearing masks. Meanwhile, a man and a woman, who were driving a Duster car near Nirma University, clashed with police. Both of them had a heated debate with the police, they both said, “We will not pay the fine. You are doing wrong. Do whatever you can.”

Meanwhile, the woman in the car also got angry and told the police, “I am a sales tax inspector. If you don’t let me go, I will slap you and scream that you are harassing me.” In this case, the police had registered a case against both the persons and detained both of them.

Kapil Kumar, a security guard on duty at Sola police station, was at a blockade point near Nirma University Char Rasta with his staff. They were giving memos to people who did not wear masks which is made mandatory to prevent the transmission of the coronavirus. At that time, a white Duster was passing over the road leading to Vaishnodevi Circle. The woman sitting in the back seat of the driver’s seat was not wearing a mask. So she was asked to pay a fine.

Ritaben Kanubhai Patel, a woman in the car, got into a debate with the police and the driver of the car got angry and started quarreling with the police, saying, “I will not pay the fine. You are doing the wrong thing. I will not pay the fine ‘. Meanwhile, the woman in the car suddenly started shouting angrily on the road and said, ‘I am a sales tax inspector, come on, if you don’t let me go, I will slap you and scream that you’re misbehaving with me.’

After this, the police personnel on duty, informed the higher authorities about the matter. So the police registered a case against Paritosh Bhai Kanubhai Patel and Ritaben Kanubhai Patel and detained both of them.
