22-year-old Tik-Tok star ends life in Wagholi

Pune: A 22-year-old Tik-Tok star died by suicide at his residence on Sunday, the police said.

The deceased has been identified as Sameer Manish Gaikwad (22), a resident of Nikasa Society, Kesnand Road, Wagholi.

He was a student of city’s Wadia College.

Sameer’s brother Praful informed the Lonikanda police about the suicidal attempt. Sameer was rushed to Life Line Hospital, where he was declared dead by doctors upon his arrival. According to the police, no suicide note was recovered from the scene.

Before dying, Sameer had posted a video on his Instagram where he had called out people for acting like crabs. The police are further investigating the matter.
