Worst Highest Single-Day Jump of 55,079 COVID-19 Infection, 779 Deaths in a Day
New Delhi : On one hand, Unlock 3 is going to be implemented in the country from Saturday and on the other hand the coronavirus infection is constantly spreading. Every day new cases of coronavirus are increasing. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry, in the last 24 hours i.e. from 8 am Thursday to 8 am Friday, there have been 55,079 new cases of coronavirus reported across the country and after these cases, the total coronavirus cases in the country have increased to 16,38,871.

Not only new cases of coronavirus are coming out but the number of people who lost their lives due to coronavirus is also increasing continuously. According to the Ministry of Health, during the last 24 hours 779 people have died due to Coronavirus in the country. Till now, this deadly virus has caused a total death of 35,747 people.
However, it is a matter of relief that the number of people recovering from the corona virus is also increasing rapidly. During the last 24 hours, 37,223 people have completely recovered from Corona virus across the country. So far, a total of 10,57,806 people across the country have completely recovered from the coronavirus. The number of active cases of coronavirus in the country is 5,45,318.
