WhatsApp Campaign by government Neglected by passengers

Government is there to help the citizens out if they cooperate with the government. If the citizens fail to cooperate, all the efforts taken by the government are in vain.

in an incident of Pune, the railway administration had activated a WhatsApp number to keep the railway station premises clean and it should have a civil partnership, but it is clear that the passengers are not responding to it.

Administration had told the people to send some pictures which showed the situation of uncleanliness to take actions accordingly. The passengers had to follow this campaign, but they are not responding to it well. Only 5 complaints have been received from the region in past12 days.

The administration has made various attempts to keep the railway station area clean. The Central Railway’s Pune division has gone one step ahead by providing Whatsapp number: 9766353772 for the passengers.

Also, posters of this number have been installed in the station area. The parking premises, platforms and stall holders to station premises are being monitored by the administration to check if these areas are being littered or not. However, they do not stop.

That is why the administration started the WhatsApp campaign and invited the passengers to participate. And appealed to passengers to send the picture if there is any such dirt seen on the station premises.

However, there are only 2 considerable complaints out of 5.

The success of any campaign depends on how people give their response or take part in it. Most of the time government makes very good plans, but fails only because of less participation of citizens in it. So it is very necessary to take participation in any plan government makes.

Providing WhatsApp number is provided to reduce the uncleanliness of Pune station by participating people. If a passenger’s complaint occurs, it will be responded immediately. After this, the photos sent by the passengers are verified and processed. The railway administration has said that the service will continue for 24 hours.
