Waris Pathan detained in South Mumbai was not true

NPnews24 online, Mumbai: The Mumbai Police clarified that Waris Pathan, the sole India Majlis-e-ittehadul Muslimeen’s MLA from Mumbai, was not detained according to the reports.

As per the cops, Pathan himself came to the Nagpada police station, earlier report stated that mentioned Byculla MLA Warsi Pathan gathered with others were reportedly detained by the Mumbai Police.

A lawyer by profession, Waris is the son of retired judge, and represented 1993 bomb blast accused and actor Salman Khan too in the hit-and-run.
